The Laboratory for In-Situ Microbiology (LIMB) will serve future NASA planetary missions. The LIMB building provides a specialized environment for the development and assembly of flight hardware. PBWS conducted site visits, reviewed available data, and met extensively with representatives of the related programs to collect, review and analyze the requirements for the following laboratory functions: Center for Integrated Space Microsystems Surface Exploration Lab Assembly, Integration and Test Labs FUNCTIONAL FEATURES: Class 1,000 Clean Rooms with aseptic detailing Class 10,000 Clean Rooms Class 100,000 Clean Rooms Offices and Conferencing The steel frame building features cast-in-place perimeter shear walls enclosing a deep-blue glass curtain-wall facade. The elevator tower features a highly refined metal skin panel system reminiscent of past space missions.
