Business Development and Marketing Coordinator
PBWS Architects in Pasadena, CA is seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated, detail-oriented person for the full-time position of Business Development and Marketing Coordinator.
Your skills, experience, and qualifications
Degree in marketing, communication, architecture, or graphic design; OR minimum 3-5 years’ experience in marketing or business development within the A/E/C industry.
Good rapport with coworkers and ability and willingness to work in a team environment.
Strong communication skills, both written and graphic. Ability to think strategically about the message being presented to the client/prospective client.
Good command of the English language including spelling, grammar, sentence structure, and verbal skills. Ability to write clear and concise communications.
Ability to readily grasp and follow instructions, with minimal supervision.
Ability to check quality of work and perform work with a minimum of errors. Ability to learn from mistakes and not repeat them.
Ability to perform work efficiently and within expected time limits. Able to keep appointments and time commitments.
Good command of Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign. Knowledge of MS Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of or willingness to learn Square Space, Mosaic, and Trello.
Authorized to work in the United States.
What you will do
Work with and under the guidance of the Partner in Charge of Business Development and Marketing to:
· General
o Maintain calendar of upcoming business development and marketing deadlines and events.
o Maintain and update staff resumes
o Coordinate photography for projects and headshots
o Solicit references from existing clients
o Maintain and update project information database
o Assist in coordinating and planning various internal and external events
· Marketing
o Register staff for attendance at conferences and events
o Prepare posts for social media (LinkedIn) and website news page
o Assist in preparing materials for, setting up, and staffing company booth at conferences, events, and job fairs
o Assist in production of marketing and communications materials such as post cards, brochures, presentations, etc.
o Assist in production of awards submittals
· Business Development
o Monitor IMS, PlanetBids, etc. for upcoming opportunities
o Assist in tracking new business leads
o Present potential RFQs / RFPs to Partners for go /no go decision making
o Assist in production of proposals and statements of qualifications
o Solicit proposal content from sub-consultants
o Assist with interview preparations including graphic presentations, handouts, brochures, and providing feedback to the interview team
Compensation and Benefits
Hourly compensation between $28 - $36 per hour commensurate with experience. PBWS also provides the following benefits to full-time employees:
