ADA TRANSITION PLAN FOR COLLEGE OF THE CANYONS

PBWS has been working with College of the Canyons to implement their ADA Transition Plan. We started with the replacement of existing operating and locking hardware at all doors identified by the Transition Plan. We also prepared campus-wide path of travel reference drawings. The next phase of work involves voluntary barrier removal of approximately 1,800 site-related deficiencies. In Phase 3, we will be focusing on corrections to the remaining deficiency items of the Transition Plan throughout the buildings, such as restrooms, signage, and casework.
