Manzanita Hall Phase 3: A Transformation at CSU Channel Islands

We’re excited to celebrate the completion of the Manzanita Hall Phase 3 project at California State University Channel Islands—a transformative renovation for the Martin V. Smith School of Business & Economics.

This 4,000 SF project converts former classrooms, faculty offices, and restrooms into a welcoming public entry lobby and institute space. The new design features small group rooms, active learning classrooms, and a study lounge. These spaces are thoughtfully designed to foster collaboration, connection, and innovation among students and faculty.

The renovation also includes a full redesign of the 27,000 SF courtyard—now a dynamic outdoor hub for daily use and special events like receptions and graduations.

Thank you to everyone who helped bring this inspiring space to life, especially our team: EPTDESIGN, Astral Engineers, Encompass Consulting Group, and Miyamoto International.
